Table Tennis Scotland has launched an appeal for volunteers ahead of the Commonwealth Championships in May.

The governing body is looking for administrative staff to help with making the event - to be held at Scotstoun from May 19-25 - a success.

Application forms can be obtained from the Table Tennis Scotland website and notes of interest have to be made by March 9.

The event is the most ambitous staged by the sport in Scotland for 20 years with a bumper entry expected.

Scotland is using the event as a key guideline ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.
