Three Scottish golds in Prague

East Kilbride’s Douglas Scott and the Houston brothers from Stirling – Scott and Stuart – all struck gold for Scotland at the Praha International Meet in Prague.

Scott won the 100m freestyle and added a second medal with a bronze in the 100m backstroke, while Stuart was a winner in the 200m butterfly.

Douglas claimed his gold in the 200m breaststroke, while his younger sister, Corrie, snatched the bronze medal in the equivalent women’s event.

It was a very useful warm-up exercise for the two Scotts as the will both be competing for Scotland in the same pool next month at the European Junior Championships.

Matthew McCusker (Ren 96) completed the medal haul for the Scots in the Czech Republic with a bronze behind Stuart in the longest butterfly event.
