Tartan trio eye Olympic medal

Scottish swimmers gearing up for Olympic showdown
From a Scottish and British viewpoint, one of the events to keep an eye on at the Olympic Games will be the men's 4 x 200m freestyle relay.
It has been targeted as a medal event by GB swimming, and three Scots - Robbie Renwick, David Carry and Andrew Hunter - will be joining England's Ross Davenport as the standard bearers.
"Britain is lying fourth in the rankings and so there is a definite chance of a medal," said Eileen Adams, Renwick's coach at City of Aberdeen. "Hopefully, they can pull it out of the bag."
While the British swimming team flew out to Osaka in Japan at the weekend for the holding camp, Eileen will be joining the party in Beijing for the start of the swimming programme on August 9.
In addition to the relay, Robbie, who is the youngest of the ten Scots in the team having celebrated his 20th birthday just last week, goes in the individual 200m freestyle.
"He's been swimming very well recently, so let's wait and see," added his coach. "If he makes an individual semi-final or final, I'll be over the moon.
"He's gaining in experience and confidence all the time and, hopefully, he will be staying on for the London 2012 Olympics. By then, he should be even better."
