Scottish swimmers on song

East Kilbride teenager Corrie Scott will lead Scotland's hopes at the Praha International Meet, having booked her place in the 50m breaststroke final as the fastest qualifier.

The Scott touched home in 33.93 seconds, just 0.33 secs outside the Scottish under-15 record she set in Manchester in May.

She will be joined in the final by InCAS swimmer Roisin Donnelly, who clocked 34.91 secs, good enough for fourth fastest, and she will also compete in the 50m butterfly final, having come home in eighth.

City of Glasgow swimmer Daniel Scott leads the way in the 50m butterfly final. The 18-year-old touched home in 25.28 secs to top the qualifying times.

Also in the final will be club-mate Stuart Houston, who was third overall, just 0.33 secs Scott, but there was bad news for fellow Scots Matthew McCusker and Douglas Scott, who were 19th and disqualified respectively.

Douglas Scott bounced back in the 50m breaststroke however, and clocked 30.01 to reach the final, where he will be joined by Houston.
