Scott helps GB win gold

Daniel Scott (Glenrothes) helped GB reach the final of the 4x100m medley relay at the conclusion of the European Junior Championships in Belgrade.

Scott swam the butterfly leg during the heats to enable the squad qualify for the final - the team then won the gold in a time of 3:39.75, a new European Junior Record.

Eloise Barber (Carnegie) and Douglas Scott (East Kilbride) were both unlucky not to proceed to the semi-final stages in their best events.

Eloise finished 15th overall in the 200m IM with a time of 2:22.66 while Scott was finished seventh in the heats of the 100m breaststroke heat with a time of 1:03.92.
