

Scots play strarring role in Slovenia meet
Billy Purnell (Warrender), Chris Chasser (South Aberdeenshire) and British youth cap, Daniel Scott (Glenrothes), were golden winners as Scotland's young swimmers hit form at the Slovenia International Open Swimming Championships in Kranj.
Billy powered his way to gold in the 200m backstroke in 2:05.91 and Chris won the 200m IM in a time of 2:08.61 91.
Daniel won gold in the 100m butterfly in 55.66, just sneaking ahead of Chasser's 55.86.
Billy added to his medal tally by taking silver medals in the 400m IM (4:39.25) and the 100m backstroke (59.62) and bronze in the 200m IM (2:09.64) and the 50m backstroke (28.22
Daniel also won silver medals in the 50m freestyle (23.97), the 50m backstroke (28.15) and the 50m butterfly (25.10) along with a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke (1:00.00).
Louise Pate (Heart of Midlothian) secured silver in the 50m butterfly (28.22) and bronze in the 100m butterfly final (1:02.37) and the 200m IM final (2:24.05).
Carnegie's Eloise Barber took silver in the 200m IM final in 2:21.60.
Other Scottish medal winners were Jonathan Greig (Stirling), who won bronze in the 400m freestyle and 1500m freestyle in times of 4:02.77 and 16:17.19 respectively, and Ross Clark (City of Dundee Aquatics). Who was a silver medallist in the 200m breaststroke in 2:23.56.
