Lucy Ellis (Stirling Swim) and Sara Hamilton (South Aberdeenshire Swimming) were among the British Gas relay squad who helped GB finish fifth at the start of the European Junior Championships in Prague. 

"It was a good race for us as we dropped two seconds from the heat into the final," said Sara after the team had touched in 3:48.49. 

Craig Hamilton (Warrender Baths Club) finished 10th in the 1500m freestyle event in a time of 15:43.42, while Jak Scott (Stirling Swim) was 14th in the 100m freestyle in a time of 51.26.
