Sean Fraser scoops bronze at BT Paralympic World Cup
Loanhead swimmer Sean Fraser claimed the final place on the podium courtesy of a sprint finish in the 400m freestyle at the BT Paralympic World Cup.
The 19-year-old clocked a new personal best time of four minutes 39.12 seconds after hunting down China's Jiachao Wang in the final 50 metres.
Great Britain team mate Sam Hynd scooped gold in 4 minute 26.50 seconds, while Germany's Christoph Burkard picked up silver.
"I had injury problems at the start of the year, but this is a good sign," said the Warrender Baths swimmer.
"That's a long distance and it shows that I'm coming back, if not fit already, then nearly there.
"I'm looking now to the European trials for Iceland at the end of October. My times will all come down this year and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year."
