Scotland's top ten embark upon final pre-Olympics meet
Hannah Miley was in record-breaking form at last month's Scottish Championships in Glasgow, and the 18-year-old Scot will be out for another boost in her final event before the Olympic Games in Beijing, the ASA National Championships in Liverpool.
All ten Olympic Scots are in action over the next four days, including City of Edinburgh trio Kirsty Balfour, Gregor Tait and Kris Gilchrist, who have spent the last few weeks training in Canet in France.
"Training has being going really well and now we're looking forward to some good racing before Beijing," said Edinburgh head coach, Fred Vergnoux.
Miley's build-up has been closer to home, winning four titles and setting a Scottish record in the 200m backstroke at the Scottish Nationals.
"Glasgow was good for the confidence," said the teenager who is coached by her father, Patrick, at the Garioch Club in Inverurie. "It was nice to see that all my hard training really is paying off."
Balfour, Tait, Stirling's Todd Cooper and the Loughborough-based pair of Caitlin McClatchey and David Carry are the five Scots heading for a second Olympics.
Andrew Hunter and Robbie Renwick - who will join Carry as medal contenders for Britain in the 200m freestyle relay - 200m breaststroke specialist Kris Gilchrist and 400m medley man Euan Dale join Miley as the quintet of Olympic newcomers.
After the ASA Championships, all the Scots will have a couple of weeks training at home before heading for the British team holding camp in Osaka in Japan on July 25. Two weeks later, the swimming events start in Beijing.
