Scott misses out on Euro Junior Swimming Championship medal
Stirling's Jak Scott just missed out on a medal at the European Junior Swimming Championships in Prague.
The 18-year-old was a member of the 4x200m relay team that finished sixth, along with Tom Parris, Richard Butler and Roberto Pavoni.
Parris recovered from a slow start to finish the opening leg in fourth place, before handing over to Scott, who swam an excellent leg to keep GB in contention.
He handed over to Butler, who found himself in third place at the 500m mark, but when Pavoni took over on the anchor leg he was placed fourth, and had plenty of work to do.
And the 18-year-old, who was fifth in the 200m butterfly final, could not overhaul the leaders, as Great Britain ended up in sixth place.
