Hannah Miley sets sights on gold at next year's Commonwealth Games
Inverurie’s Hannah Miley insists she is ready to capture gold at next year’s Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
The Garioch Amateur Swimming Club athlete won short course World Championship bronze and silver in Manchester last year.
The 20-year-old was also part of Great Britain’s 4x200m freestyle bronze medal winning squad at July’s long course World Championships in Rome.
And Miley admits she’s relishing the opportunity to pull on Scotland’s colours in India.
“It’d be great to win having come so close several times,” said Miley.
“I really want to prove to everyone that the training I’ve been doing has been worth it.
“I love competing for Scotland because we can show everyone what we’re made of.”
