Warrender’s Craig Hamilton completed a clean sweep of distance freestyle titles when he won the 1500m on the penultimate day at the Scottish Gas National Age-Group Championships at the Royal Commonwealth Pool.

The 17-year-old, who is set to compete for Team GB at this summer’s European Junior Championships in Prague, clocked 15:58.55 to add the title to his gold in the 400m and 800m distances in the senior 16-18 years section.

Emily Jones (Garioch), who trains alongside Scottish Olympian Hannah Miley in Inverurie, won an impressive seventh gold medal in the 13 years section with a victory in 2:10.48 in the 200m freestyle.
