Four Dunedin swimmers off to India
Dunedin swimming in Edinburgh has four representatives in the Scottish team for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India, in October.
Lucy Ellis, Iain Scanlon, Daniel Scott and Robyn Matthews - who is also a member of the City of Edinburgh squad and is the daughter of Dunedin Coach, Elaine Matthews - are among the ten-strong line-up.
Robyn has already swum for the British senior team, and her City of Edinburgh clubmate, Megan Gilchrist, is another full GB cap in the strong Scottish team.
The Commonwealth Youth Games is an uder-18 event and the target for all the competitors will be to return to India and compete for Scotland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and then go on to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
