Craig on form

Scotland’s Craig Rodgie helped GB win a bundle of medals at the INAS-FID Global Games in Liberec, Czech Republic. [INAS-FID is the International Federation for sport for athletes with an intellectual disability.]

Rodgie, the only Scot in the squad of eight, was involved in all five relay performances which saw the team pick up two Gold medals, one silver and one Bronze, including a world record performance in the 4 x 100m team Medley event.

Craig also had a successful individual programme making finals in all four of his events. He just missed out on medals by taking fourth place in both the 50m (28.88) and 100m (1:05.80) butterfly.

The talented lad from Dalgety Bay is heading off to Iceland next as part of the British Gas Disability Team selected to represent at the IPC European Championships in Reykjavik, Iceland in October.
