Beijing quartet at Scottish champs

Four of the ten Olympic-bound Scottish swimmers - Hannah Miley, Robbie Renwick, Todd Cooper and Andrew Hunter - continue the build-up to Beijing at the Scottish Championships at Tollcross Leisure Centre in Glasgow.

While the other six Olympic Scots are at overseas training camps and won't be competing until the ASA Championships in Liverpool next month, teenager Miley will be one who is out to prove she is a genuine Olympic medal contender.

The talented all-rounder, who is coached by her father Patrick at the Garioch Club in Inverurie, has qualified for both the individual medleys for Beijing, and showed her form with a silver (400m) and bronze (200m) in the recent world short-course championships in Manchester.

Renwick and Hunter are both freestyle specialists, and will be hoping to help GB win a medal in the 4 x 200m freestyle relay, while Cooper's event is the 100m butterfly.
