White goes Dutch
Scotland's John White has made a surprise entry into next month's Forexx Dutch Open Squash in Amsterdam. Now winding down his career, the US-based 35-year-old former world No.1 is now ranked 19 in the world.

White has only competed in seven events over the last 12 months, but has shown that he can still compete with the best.

In April, he won the Irish Open and he also reached the semi finals of this summer's Mamut English Open and the Davenport Professional Squash Championships.

The Dutch Open offers White a chance to return to the country where he lived for a period in the late 1990s.

"I am really looking forward to returning to the Netherlands, because I spent a couple of great years there," he said. "The Forexx Dutch Open is not only a great event, but it also gives me the chance to see my squash friends again."
