Top Scots to attend training camps

Summer may be the squash closed season, but an innovative Scottish Squash Performance Programme will keep the players' games ticking over at a summer training camp from July 7 -17 at the National Training Centre at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

A variety of players will be in attendance, including some from overseas, and there will be a planned range of on and off court activities.  All members of the National Junior Academy and National Talent Squad are invited to take part.

Roger Flynn, the Scottish National Coach, and Performance Director, Paul Frank, will be at the camp in addition to guest coaches and various members of the National Senior Squad.

Places are limited and participants will be taken on a "first-come-first-served" basis. Any players requiring accommodation must confirm this before June 12.

All players are also encouraged to enter the "Heriot-Watt University Junior Open", a European Squash Federation tournament to be played from July 18-20. The tournament  will give players the chance to gain ESF junior ranking points and entry forms are available via the front page of the performance website:  www.squashinfoscotland.com.

To register for the camp or ask any questions - please email Paul Frank directly via p.j.frank@hw.ac.uk.
