

Clyne leads the charge as Scots prepare for European Team Championships
Alan Clyne will have a final warm-up before leading Scotland to next week’s European Team Championships when he lines-up as one of the top eight seeds at the Ned Vale of Ilkley Open.
The British Squash Association Tour event has attracted a host of Scots, including national champion Stuart Crawford and rookie senior, Lyall Paterson.
In the women’s event, Scottish Champion Frania Gillen-Buchert heads the tartan challenge and is joined by Claire Kidd and Lisa Aitken.
The European Championships take place in Malmo and the Scottish teams will be travelling to Sweden on Monday with coach Roger Flynn.
In Ilkley, the top seeds are two English players – Peter Baker and Laura Lengthorn-Massaro.
