Congratulations to Scotland’s Rosie Allen on claiming the Under-15 title at the IACT Irish Junior Open in Galway.

The Stonehaven youngster was the winner against a couple of Irish players in the round-robin group stage – two 3-0 results whisking her into the final.  

She then defeated Norway’s Alvide Sonju in three straight games to clinch her first victory n the European circuit. 

The next big date for Rosie, and all of Scotland’s young rising stars, will be the annual extravaganza of the Scottish Junior Open – a tournament with truly global appeal. It takes place at Heriot-Watt University from December 27-30.
