Scotland’s Robyn Hodgson has scored an excellent win in the Under-19 event at the Spanish Junior Open in Santiago.

After cruising through her the opening rounds without dropping a game, the Aberdeen teenager completed the sequence with a battling 13-11 11-9 11-9 win over Spain’s Ana Arosa in the final.

The Spanish Open is one of the major tournaments on the European circuit, and the victory was another feather in the cap at the end of a great season for Scottish players.
