
Qualifier Stuart goes all the way to semis

Stuart Crawford battles his way to the semi-finals of the Salzburg Open
Scotland’s Stuart Crawford, who had come through two rounds of qualifying, reached the semi-finals of the Salzburg Open in Austria.
The former Scottish Champion knocked out England’s No.4 seed Lewis Walters 10-12 14-12 11-5 11-8 in the first round of the main draw, and then ousted fellow-qualifier Mark Fuller (England) 11-13 11-1 11-4 11-9.
In the semis, Crawford’s great run came to an end in a 7-11 6-11 6-11 loss to the English No.1 seed, Tom Pashley.
