Men finish 7th

Scotland's men finished in seventh place after a final day 3-1 win over Spain at the European squash Championships in Zotermeer in the Netherlands. Alan Clyne lost the top match to Borja Golan, but Jamie Macaulay, Stuart Crawford and Chris Small clinched the victory.

In the women's championship, Lisa Aitken and Frania Gillen-Buchert claimed the victories as Scotland beat Austria 2-0 for 12th place. Montrose's Aitken trounced Theresa Graduitzen 9-3 9-0 9-1 and then Edinburgh's Gillen-Buchert tied up the victory with a 3-9 10-9 9-3 10-9 victory over Birgit Coufal.
