MacAulay makes it three for Scots in Manchester Open
Jamie MacAulay survived the qualification to join fellow-Scots Stuart Crawford and Alistair Gorrie in the main draw for the Northern Open in Manchester.
The Shetlander beat Imran Khan 11-1 11-5 11-3 and now plays Andrew Widdison in the first round.

Lyall Paterson, Scotland’s top junior last season, was unlucky to go out in the qualifying after a titanic battle against Adam Murrills.
The Stonehaven player took the opening two games but eventually lost 11-3 11-7 9-11 3-11 8-11 in a 48-minute match.
