Crawfiord exits in quarters

Stuart Crawford loses out in last eight of Philadelphia Opeb
Scottish Champion Stuart Crawford reached the quarter-finals of the Fairmount Open before going out to Pakistan’s Arshad Iqbal Burkhi in Philadelphia.
The No.4 seed, who had knocked out Stonehaven’s Lyall Paterson in the first round, had too much fire power and beat the Irvine man 11-6 11-4 13-11.
In the world rankings, Scotland’s No.1 Alan Clyne has risen to a career high of No.74, while Crawford is at No.132.
