
Clyne makes last eight in Malaysia

Alan Clyne continues his fine form to progress in Kuala Lumpur
Scottish Champion Alan Clyne pulled off a shock result to reach the quarter-finals of the KNSC Large Tournament in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The 21-year-old from Inverness battled through two rounds of qualifying and then defeated the Dutch No. 5 seed, Dylan Bennett, 7-11 11-9 11-9 13-11 to make it into the last eight.
Clyne, who won his first Professional Squash Association Tournament in America last September, now meets the No.1 seed from Australia, Aaron Frankcomb.
Clyne jumped 46 places to no.121 in the latest world rankings – Bennett is the No.62 and Frankcomb is at No. 46.
