Alan Clyne hoping to continue fine form with a win at Wimbeldon
Scotland’s Alan Clyne is aiming to win Wimbledon this weekend. The Inverness star is seeded in the top eight and opens against England’s Max Lee.
The tournament is part of the PeterNicolsquash.com UK Grand Prix circuit and the top seed is England’s Daryl Selby with Stacey Ross at No.2.
In the qualifying event, Lyall Paterson just missed out on joining Clyne in the 32-man main draw. The 19-year-old from Stonehaven lost 14-12 5-11 2-11 11-7 11-6 to England’s Charles Sharpes.
