Clyne is No. 1

Scotland's Alan Clyne reached the final of the BSPA Elite 8 event in Ilkley and soared to the top of the Series Rankings rankings.

Having beaten England’s former word top ten player, Simon Parke, Jamie Haycock and Neil Hitchens in the Pool matches, the in-form Inverness player just lost out in a thrilling five game match to Jon Kemp. The Englishman came from behind to win 7-11 11-7 8-11 11-6 11-6.

At the halfway point of the Series, Clyne tops the rankings ahead of the English pair of Robbie Temple and Daryl Selby.

The next tournament is at Roehampton this week.
