Clyne bows out in semis

Alan Clyne loses out in semi-final of NSC Large Tournament
Scottish Champion Alan Clyne saw his giant-killing run come to an end in a four game semi-final defeat from top seed Aaron Frankcomb at the NSC Large Tournament in Malyasia.
A qualifier, the Inverness 21-year-old had already knocked out one seed to reach the last eight, and he managed to take a game from the Australian favourite before going out 4-11 11-9 9-11 4-11.
Frankcomb is ranked 75 places higher than the Scot at No.46 in the world – Clyne should enjoy a significant jump when the March list is released.
