
Clyne and Crawford bow out

Scots miss out in round one of Atlanta Open
Alan Clyne, now at a career high of No.100 in the world, and Scottish Champion Stuart Crawford both lost in the first round of the main draw at the Atlanta Open.
Crawford had battled through two rounds of qualifying before going out
12-10 3-11 5-11 8-11 to the Malaysian No.5 seed, Mohn Nafiizwan Adnan.
Clyne, who has already won a tournament in the States, also went out in four rounds. Jorge Ferreira, the No.4 seed from Mexico, defeated the Inverness 21-year-old 11-7 6-11 6-11 6-11.
