Vancouver or bust for Huntly aces

British No. 1 Andrew Musgrave has praised Huntly ski club as five members of the Scottish nordic ski centre set their sights on the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

The 19-year-old along with Andrew Young, Alex Standon, Callum Smith and Simon Platt, have all qualified to compete at World Cup level under Huntly coach Roy Young, who is also head coach of the British team.

And Musgrave - who produced a lifetime best to finish 45th at the Nordic World Championships earlier this year - said: ?Our club is definitely the best in Britain and, hopefully, at least one of us will be competing in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next year.

"That would be quite an achievement, but not really surprising considering that we have on our doorstep the best venue in Britain for Nordic skiing.

"It is the Clashindarroch forest just outside Rhynie, where they prepare the trails for the cross-country skiing.

"Our coach Roy Young is very good to work with.

"He seems to be giving us a good programme and we are doing pretty well internationally at the moment."
