Scots pair continue apprenticeship

Aberdeenshire teenagers Andrew Musgrave and Andrew Young continued their learning process at the FIS World Cup cross country meeting in Dusseldorf.

Musgrave finished 68th in the 1.5km sprint qualifying with Young just two places below.

Musgrave finished 19.99 seconds behind race winner Andrew Newell from the United States and Young was 20.63 seconds adrift.

It is the first year the duo have competed in World Cup races and part of a heavy winter schedule.
