Is Baxter back?

If in recent years 34 year-old Alain Baxter has faced frequent questioning about when he plans to hang up his ski boots, the latest activity by the Stirlingshire based veteran of Snowsport GB's alpine team suggests he's not cutting back on his training...
 
For news has filtered through to ITWZ that The Highlander, whose slalom exploits have included a career best 4th in a 2001 World Cup slalom in Are (Sweden), a 3rd (though subsequently disqualified) at the 2002 Winter Olympics and 7 top 20 finishes in Europa Cup races last season, has just completed filming for a series of the TV hit Super Stars.
 
In 2005, super-fit Baxter defeated a host of fellow athletes, including stars from the world of rugby and athletics, to win the Super Stars title.
