Big Smoke to host Big Air
McKenna and Kilner expected at London Big Air event

As a venue for a World Cup snowboarding competition, London isn't the first destination that springs to mind.
However, according to a spokeswoman for Snowsport GB, the city's Battersea Park is set to host a World Cup Big Air competition this autumn – and using real snow!
Precisely how organisers will engineer the creation of real snow conditions when the action gets underway on 25th October isn't clear.
However, as one of several cities scheduled to host such Big Air competitions during the 2008/09 season, it's already certain that the likes of Scottish snowboard stars Ben Kilner and Lesley McKenna will be in action.
