Big Smoke to host Big AirAs a venue for a World Cup snowboarding competition, London isn't the first destination that springs to mind.
However, according to a spokeswoman for Snowsport GB, the city's Battersea Park is set to host a World Cup Big Air competition this autumn – and using real snow!
Precisely how organisers will engineer the creation of real snow conditions when the action gets underway on 25th October isn't clear.
