Strathglass cruise to victory in Balliemore Cup final
Strathglass won the Balliemore Cup for the third time in their history with a crushing 5-1 final win over Kinlochshiel at Rothesay.
Lee Bain gave them a 37th-minute lead only for Keith Macrae to equalise for Kinlochshiel before Strathglass took control in the second half.
Robert Geddes scored twice and Garry Reid and Marc MacLauchlan were also on target to give them the trophy.
It was the first time Strathglass had won the cup since 2003 and their only other triumph wa back in 1986.
