Shinty opens its doors

Festival of shinty hopes to create a buzz for the sport
Spean Bridge hosts the Marine Harvest Festival of Shinty tomorrow (Sat) as the sport looks to put itself in the shop window.
Matches will be played between the North and South at men's, women's and Under-21 level in a celebration of the sport.
Entry to the event is free to celebrate the 20th year of the festival and matches will be televised.
The Camanachd Association is hoping to attract newcomers to the sport and it is labelled as a family fun day.
There will be a range of activities aimed at children but the matches will be the main focus of the day.
