Ronald Ross wins Spirit of Scotland Award for second time
Ronald Ross has won the Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Sport Award for the second time in his career.
Ross picked up the award at a ceremony in Edinburgh for his prowess in the quintessentially Scottish game of shinty.
He reached the 1,000-goal milestone last May and won the award ahead of Catriona Matthew, the North Berwick golfer who is the first Scot to win the Women's British Open Golf Championship.
It comes on the back of his club, Kingussie, winning the Scottish Hydro Premier League title last weekend.
