Scottish sailing coach Stephen Park receives OBE from the Queen
Scottish sailing coach Stephen Park collected his OBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace, and promised more medals at London 2012.
Glasgow-born Park has been credited for much of Great Britain's sailing success, having fronted the team for the past three Olympics.
But he knows his career will be defined by what happens on home waters in 2012.
"We have had a run of three fantastic Olympics in Sydney, Athens and now in Beijing.
"Over the three Olympics the team has delivered 16 medals, which is sensational.
"However, the hard work has already started for London 2012 and we know the pressure will be on again."
British sailors won four golds, one silver and a bronze in Beijing, to finish top of the sailing medal table.
And Park dedicated his OBE to them.
"It's a great honour and a day I will never forget but credit must go to everyone at the Royal Yachting Association who works so hard for Great Britain's success," he added.
