Evans brothers steal the show as Glasgow cruise past Connacht
The Evans brothers were the stars of the show as Glasgow Warriors heaped further misery on rock-bottom Connacht with a convincing 34-20 win at Firhill.
Max got the Warriors of the perfect start with a try in the second minute and not to be outdone brother Thom scored twice in each half as the home side dominated.
Johnnie Beattie also crossed but 12 points from the boot of Connacht?s Ian Keatley made the score 24-12 at the interval.
Keatley was among the points again after the break with a 45th minute penalty but opposite number Parks hit back with three points of his own.
Fionn Carr gave the visitors hope of a late fightback with a 73rd minute try.
But any dreams of adding to their solitary win of the season were quickly dashed when Thom Evans notched his second try four minutes from time.
Colin Gregor added the extras as the Warriors made it four wins from six and put more pressure on floundering Connacht.
