Scotland's autumn test opponents named

Australia, Argentina and Fiji will travel to Murrayfield in November after the Scottish Rugby Union announced their opponents for this year's autumn Test series.

Fiji, who recently leapfrogged Scotland into eighth in the world, kick off the series on November 14, with Australia following a week later and Argentina completing the series.

Scotland are yet to announce a successor to former head coach Frank Hadden but SRU chief executive Gordon McKie insists his replacement will be announced well before the autumn Tests.

"It is an exciting time for Scottish rugby and a new coach will be in place for these matches," said McKie.

"This will mark the beginning of our attempts to raise the standard of the national team and give the supporters the performances we all want.

"Our opponents will bring a quality combination of the free-flowing and the hard-nosed, all adding up alongside our ticket prices to affordable entertainment for all the family."
