Top Scottish coaches to hold masterclass sessions across the country
Scotland's rugby coaches will help develop the game at grass roots level this season after agreeing to hold master classes around the country.
National conditioning co-ordinator Ken MacEwen will start the ball rolling at Stirling County RFC on Wednesday 12 August before academy coach Alun Powell talks about scrum-half play at Murrayfield Stadium five days later.
Edinburgh's new head coach Rob Moffat, Glasgow forwards' coach Shade Munro, former Scotland hooker Stevie Scott and Scotland's defence coach Graham Steadman are also in action throughout the season.
Graham Lindsay, Scottish Rugby's coach development officer, said: "These updates give those coaching at club and youth level throughout the country an opportunity to keep up to speed with the latest skills and techniques.
"They can then be used or adapted to their own advantage at their own club."
