Scots need to find their killer instinct, says coach Andy Robinson
Scotland head coach Andy Robinson pleaded with his side to find their killer instinct before the Six Nations after losing 9-6 to Argentina at Murrayfield.
Robinson’s side dominated possession and territory in the first half but amassed just two penalties from Phil Godman to lead 6-0 at the break.
Martin Rodriguez kicked two penalties and landed a drop goal two minutes from time to claim victory for the Pumas.
And Robinson warned his side to strike while the iron is hot in the future.
"What concerns me is our ability to score tries," said Robinson.
"We've got to improve our ability to break a side down. You've got to control the scoreboard and we didn't do that – therefore we deserved what we got.
“I'm bitterly disappointed at losing, and the players are as well, but it's a good learning experience for us.
“We have the ability to win any game, and similarly – as you've seen today – we have the ability to lose any game."
