Dan Parks the star as Glasgow claim second win of the season
Glasgow matched rivals Edinburgh by beating the Scarlets 19-11 to become the only other Magners League team to boast a 100per-cent record.
Fly-half Dan Parks, returning to first-team action in the place of the injured Ruaridh Jackson, finished with a 14-point haul with Rob Dewey grabbing the Warriors’ only try of the match.
Parks was the creator for the winger’s score but the Scarlets hit back when full-back Daniel Evans broke free from a ruck and ran in from 45m.
Despite missing the conversion Rhys Priestland’s penalty gave the visitors a slender 8-7 advantage at the break.
After Priestland exchanged a penalty apiece with Parks, Glasgow’s superiority began to tell.
Scotland international stand-off Parks landed a further two penalties and a drop goal to see the Warriors move to just a point behind Edinburgh.
