Lineen to lead Scotland A

Sean Lineen has spoken of his delight at being appointed Scotland A head coach for this month's match against Tonga.

The Glasgow Warriors’ head coach has been rewarded for his work within the previous coaching set up and succeeds new national head coach Andy Robinson.

Warriors coach Shade Munro will continue as assistant coach and will be joined by Edinburgh's Nick Scrivener in the new-look set-up.

Scotland play Tonga at Netherdale on Friday 20 November and Lineen – who will continue as Glasgow head coach – is excited by the opportunity.

Lineen said: "I've been involved with Scotland and Scotland A for a number of years, so I'm delighted to be appointed as the head coach."
