Lineen tests depth of Warriors squad

Glasgow coach Sean Lineen has rung the changes as they put their unbeaten record on the line at Newport-Gwent Dragons.

Lineen has made six changes in all after impressive wins over Munster and Scarlets in their opening two matches.

Scrum-half Chris Cusiter misses out as he is the best man at his brother’s wedding so Mark McMillan steps in.

Scotland winger Thom Evans has a trapped nerve in his back so Colin Shaw comes in with Dan Turner replacing captain Alastair Kellock, who drops to the bench, in the second row.

Calum Forrester gets a start in place of Kelly Brown while props Justin Va’a and Ed Kalman start instead of Jon Welsh and Moray Low.

“We’ve made changes but it was always my plan to do this but I didn’t expect to make this many – I’ve lost a couple of players to injury,” said Lineen.

“We’re going to test the depth of our squad but we’re going down there with real intent.

“There’s a confidence and a belief in this squad and we’re hungry to get a result.”
