Scotland sevens star Roddy Grant has signed his first professional contract with Edinburgh.

The 22-year-old flanker made his first-team debut during January's Magners League win over Ulster.

Botswana-born Grant, currently with West of Scotland, said: "I'm obviously delighted, it is one of the best feelings I think I've ever had. I've always wanted to play professional rugby in Scotland, so to finally get the offer is brilliant."
