Scotland can beat 'any team in the world' says centre Grove
After helping slay Australia at the weekend Scotland new-boy Alex Grove insists Andy Robinson’s men now fear no-one in the world.
The Worcester centre has enjoyed a dream start to international rugby with wins over Fiji and the shock 9-8 success over the Wallabies.
Argentina now stand in their way of an autumn international clean sweep but Grove is convinced they can put the Pumas to the sword as well.
“The win against Australia showed that, on our day we are capable of beating any team in the world,” said Grove.
“Australia are a quality side but we made it very difficult to come and play here.
“There was a belief, especially at half-time, that we were going to come off the pitch as winners.
“I know we hadn’t beaten them for 27 years but you could just see it in people’s eyes that we could do it.
“And when the final whistle went it was a feeling I’ve never experienced before on the pitch.”
