Nick De Luca praises Edinburgh's 'winning habit' for second place finish
Scottish centre Nick De Luca insists there's no reason why Edinburgh can't become title challengers next season after their stunning second-place finish in the Magners League.
Andy Robinson's side sealed the runners-up spot after overturning a 14-3 halftime deficit to defeat Cardiff Blues 36-14 at the Arms Park on Sunday for their sixth straight win
And 25-year-old De Luca is adamant Edinburgh are now perfectly placed to break Scottish club rugby' trophy hoodoo.
He said: "We will always be the first Scottish team to finish second in the Magners League.
"Last season we finished fourth and we used that as a platform, so hopefully now we can go on and win something.
"We are absolutely delighted about finishing second,we have made history.
"Our winning streak helped us to come back into the game because we had been down before in other games and still managed to win.
"We have got that winning habit, so we didn't try to force anything. We took our time, stuck to the plan and we knew the tries would come.2
