Nic Cartwright begins search for replacement for Andy Robinson
Edinburgh chief executive Nic Cartwright remains confident a high-quality replacement can be found for head coach Andy Robinson.
As widely expected Robinson was installed as Scotland boss last week after guiding the Gunners to a second-place finish in the Magners League.
The new season begins on September 4 and Cartwright believes the capital club will not have a problem when it comes to finding applicants for the job.
He said: "Edinburgh's head coach role is arguably one of the most attractive jobs around and I'm sure we will attract the interest of coaches with the right skill-set and mindset to continue the progress that has been made.
"Whoever is the most suitable applicant will inherit a talented young squad who are eager to learn and with a tremendous team spirit.
"We have got a really talented backroom staff and a squad bursting with quality. I have every confidence they will show that next year will be better still."
