

Edinburgh Accies go top of Premiership Division One with five-try blitz of Selkirk
Edinburgh Academicals scored five tries in their 33-10 win against Selkirk to take them up to top of the Scottish Hydro Electric Premiership Division One.
Tries from Chris Dickie, Robin Snape, David Denton, Tom Drennan and Matt Couper could only be responded with a solitary try from Neil Cruikshank in a busy afternoon at Raeburn Place.
Joint leaders Ayr came from behind at half-time to beat Watsonians 22-16 at New Myreside.
The visitors outscored the hosts by four tries to one, with Cammie Taylor, John McCrossan, Ross Curle and Damien Kelly all getting on the scoresheet.
Meanwhile Glasgow Hawks scored six tries as they romped to a 46-0 win against bottom-placed Stewart’s Melville FP, Boroughmuir saw off West of Scotland 37-20.
Melrose beat Dundee HSFP 36-31 and Currie downed Heriots 28-15 while in Premiership Division Two Hawick stormed to the top of the table with a 29-5 defeat of Kelso.
And in Premiership Division Three Hillhead/Jordanhill followed suit with a blistering 53-10 victory against Howe of Fife.
